seed
« on: Fri August 26, 2016, 11:26:51 AM »
I have recently rebuilt a turfmaker 700 and am ready to hydroseed.  How many pounds of bermuda grass seed should I use in a tank?  I am familiar with a Turbo Turf but feel sure they do things differently.  Thanks

Teddy

Bermuda is usually seeded at about 2 pounds per 1000 sq. ft.  It is going to depend a little on how heavy an application you want to apply with the Turfmaker but assuming you will cover 8,000 sq. ft. per load then 16 pounds if you cover 10,000 it would be about 20 pounds.  I hope that helps a little.
