Welcome to the IAHP Forum!

We invite you to use the forum if you have any interest in hydroseeding. This forum is sponsored by the International Association of HydorSeeding Professionals but a membership in the association is not required to use the forum. You do need to complete the simple registration process.

HYDROSEEEDING CONTRACTORS. If you are a hydroseeding contractor or have an intrest in getting into the hydroseeding field our members are friendy, helpful and experience and will help with any problems you have. We invite you to share your knowledge and help those who have questions that you can answer. We invite you to join the IAHP and as many have found this may be the best thing you can do to help your business but you are welcome to particiapte in our forum even without being an IAHP.

One of the key benefits is the free premium listing on, the site is designed to help people find a qualified, expert hydroseeding contractor and can send you enough extra business to pay for your membership many times over. Other benefits include online courses leading to certification as a "Certified Hydroseeding Professional" as well as discounts from suppliers, regional events and other benefits./p>

We want to provide a media for you to promote your products. You are welcome to post about your products and your press releases in our "News from the Manufacture's" section. We also invite you to join the IAHP. Your membership will provide advertising opportunities that will make your membership a valuable investment in your business. Your logo and a link to your website will appear on our member page. You will recieve free advertising in our electronic newseltter. Members prefer to buy from suppliers that support their orgainzation.

I bought a kubota rtv and spray rig with boom and gps to do pasture/ranchette spraying with. A friend told me about residential Hydroseeding and now I have an incredible interest in it. For my personal use it could help me get some grass growing at my place that Iíve had a hard time with due to the steepness and poor soil conditions. Really need help with something to hold the soil.

Iíve been considering a vsi 110 or 200 gallon machine but the 200 would be a little much to put in the...

I have 8 SFH investment properties that I am selling this spring and the lawns look awful.  Since some will be put on the market by early April I am thinking hydroseeding is my best option.  I had considered sod but the cost of sod vs hydroseeding is definitely a factor.  Besides I had 5,000 SF of sod installed at my home when I first moved here and it barely lasted the season.

I am speaking to several hydroseeding contractors who say that March is the best time to do the hydroseeding...

Second year doing local home show. What do you guys find the best display for the shows? Last year just had a slide show with my landscaping display. Trying to get more into seeding and less landscaping. Any tips would be appreciated.

Iím relatively new to Hydroseeding and live in northern WV, roughly 80 miles south of Pittsburgh. My question has to do with recommended seed types/ mixes for various situations or soils. I know that my area primarily uses a turf type tall fescue for regular lawn installs. However, Iím looking to expand into the commercial market this year. What do you all recommend for the following situations?
1) erosion control situations with a slope of 20 degrees or greater
