Chris is the owner of Maritime Hydroseed, based in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. The company began operations in 1973 and was one of the first hydroseeders in Eastern Canada. For more than 20 years, their work was almost exclusive to Department of Transportation projects. As major DOT highway projects began winding down in 2005, a new direction was needed. Today, they are a green industry leader specializing in vegetation establishment and preventative solutions for erosion, dust, sediment and storm water. They are also a revegetation and reclamation consultant, landscape services contractor and product distributor.
Chris has been involved in the family businesses for 25 years, which has included landscape maintenance and operations in the waste management industry (waste collection, recycling, compost, C&D – construction and demolition – site). Factory certified in special applications for hydraulic (HECP) and rolled (RECP) erosion control products. NBSCA-COR Certified in health and safety by the New Brunswick Construction Safety Association. Certified ISNetworld Contractor member. Active with the Atlantic Road Builders’ Heavy Construction.
Ray Badger is president of Turbo Technologies, manufacturer of Turbo Turf HydroSeeding Systems, located in Beaver Falls PA. Ray is a founding member of the IAHP and has served on the board of the IAHP since 2004. Ray has been involved in the hydroseeding field since 1989. Ray studied at Geneva College and Pitt University.
Ed Dugan is the owner of Northeast Bowie Sales LLC, the Bowie dealership for the Northeast States. He has been serving on the Board of Directors for the IAHP for the last five years. Ed has been in the landscape industry for almost 38 years. After graduating from Cook College, Rutgers University with a BS degree in Horticulture, he built a successful landscape contractor business which operated for 20 years. Opportunities allowed him to move onto regional and national sales for various Hydroseeding and Erosion Control Equipment and Supply Companies.
Ron has been involved with this industry for about 20 years. He has been employed by Finn Corporation since 2014, and he works as a trainer in the sales department. Prior to being employed by Finn, Ron worked with Wolbert & Master in Edgewood, MD. They were a Finn dealer that not only sold Finn equipment but also specialized in erosion control supplies and materials. During his almost 20 years in this career, Ron has been able to learn about and share different hydroseeding and erosion control techniques from his colleagues, customers and vendors. Ron travels primarily on the east coast, and his home is just outside of Baltimore, MD.
Clinton Tull is the owner of HydroScape Solutions based in Belleville Illinois. Clinton has been a hydroseeding contractor for several years operating in a multi-state area. Clinton has been a member of the Board of Directors for the International Association of HydroSeeding Professionals since 2020.
I am proud to be a member of the IAHP again. I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Agronomy, From Ohio State University, graduating in spring 1991. I have business relationships in distribution and manufacturing driven from the fertilizer and biological sectors. I was a founding member of the IAHP in 2004 when we met at the Michigan Green Industry Association Expo in Novi, MI. I have dealt with the arboriculture, horticulture, turf, and ornamental markets through the geography east of the Mississippi and the northeast US. I am a resident of central Ohio, married, with two children. I am a proud family man and US Navy & Army Veteran. I am proud to serve the IAHP and the associated markets.
Chris has owned and operated Pro-Turf Landscaping since 2001. He graduated with honors from the University of Massachusetts in 2004 with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information. Over the last fifteen years, his business has grown to two locations with more than twenty five employees and thousands of customers. Pro-Turf currently runs two hydroseeders. Most of their work is hydroseeding solar field projects, DOT projects and residential lawns in MA and NH areas. Pro-Turf also runs three landscape maintenance crews, two irrigation install and service crews, and a number of pieces of equipment dedicated to installing new lawns and landscapes. Chris and Pro-Turf strive to be an industry leader in the New England area. He is always eager to meet and learn from other contractors in the industry. Chris is happy to serve on the IAHP’s Board of Directors.
